How we write

RavenArc is an independent publication on strategy and consequential decisions. Every piece is held to one test: would it make the decision better? These are the standards behind that test.

Our bylines

RavenArc articles are written by a small editorial team and published under pen names, one for each area we cover. Pen names keep the focus on the argument rather than the author, and they give readers a consistent voice to follow on each subject. The titles describe the subject each pen name covers at RavenArc. They are not claims about anyone’s employment, qualifications or clients elsewhere.

Sources and analysis

We keep external fact and our own view apart. Figures, deals and events come from public sources, and where a piece rests on a specific number we say where it came from. Interpretation, frameworks and recommendations are RavenArc analysis and are written as such. We do not present illustrative examples as client work.

Independence

RavenArc is not paid to publish any article and carries no sponsored content or advertising. If that ever changes for a piece, the piece will say so plainly.
